Gelato Gourmet’s objective was to bring authentic Italian gelato ice creams, cakes and recipes to the customers who visited their store in Florida as well as throughout the United States. The design of the website had to be appealing and follow the “handmade” theme on its layout. Our graphic designers created Menus & Icons customized to represent handwritings and sketches in order to follow the website theme.
A good website is an amalgamation of great UI and functionality. Once the design got approved, we worked on developing a robust ecommerce store with Woocommerce for Wordpress. Haydee, our client from Gelato Gourmet, wanted an automatic shipping option integrated on the website, for which we set up her shipping account with FedEX. We also assisted her in setting up a payment processor account to do transactions on her website. We added premium woocommerce plugins for ease of access and integrated Facebook messenger on the website for live orders and enquiries via chat.
Before making the website live, we ensured it is optimized for search results. Once the website was launched, we integrated Google analytics to track its performance and device our subsequent digital marketing services. Gelato Gourmet got a positive response on social media with it’s new design and user experience.
